The Chance LR30 is a long-endurance uncrewed surface vessel engineered for efficient line-following and persistent autonomous missions in demanding maritime environments. Its streamlined hull with a wave-piercing bow reduces pitching in heavy seas while supporting both over-the-horizon and line-of-sight operations with robust communications. Mast-mounted visual and thermal cameras, radar, and Class A AIS provide continuous 360° situational awareness, and payload integration is made simple through a standard climate-controlled 19-inch equipment rack with AC/DC power. Below the hull, a forward-protected fixed transducer mount and deck-mounted winches support a wide range of towed or profiling sensors, and the active gyrostabilizer enhances seakeeping for extended data collection. The vessel is trailer-launchable and can also be recovered via dual-davits from a mothership, delivering weeks of endurance and kilowatts of payload power for hydrographic survey, environmental monitoring, fisheries assessments, and other autonomous maritime operations.
