Janus Marine and Defense had an incredible experience at SOF Week in Tampa, FL, where we explored cutting-edge technologies and engaged in insightful discussions about USV operations in the defense sector. Nicholas Jones, our representative, was on hand to discuss the Nexus Janus “Portal,” setting a new standard in USV payload integration. We were impressed by MARTAC’s high-speed USVs, BlackSea Technologies’ GARC USV, and BlueHalo’s versatile Kraken system. Ghostworks provided thrilling rides on their GT34 and GT24 vessels, while UXV Technologies showcased ruggedized remote operator controllers. RoboSys demonstrated advanced navigational systems, and COVAR impressed us with their computer vision camera system. Tocaro Blue’s innovative navigation technology was a highlight, offering detailed digital pictures of vessels’ operating environments. SOF Week was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with industry leaders and explore the future of unmanned surface vessels.
