The Hugin USV features a built-in navigation system enabling autonomous transit from shore to offshore sites. It can be controlled both within line-of-sight and from a beyond-line-of-sight remote control center. Designed as a generic sensor platform, it collects extensive data on wind conditions, seabed state, and biological and ecological parameters, transmitting this information onshore for real-time processing.
